Our HomeWe live in a spacious yet cozy house in Berkeley, California, in the San Francisco Bay Area. We have a backyard full of trees and a swing hanging from the largest Oak. Our neighborhood is quiet with a very tight and supportive group of neighbors with lots of toddlers and babies. There are frequent social events and block parties so we know everyone on our street as well as the neighbors on surrounding streets.
We live near Tilden Park, which has miles of hiking and cycling trails, an old fashioned carousel, pony rides, an old steam train and Little Farm, where families can feed and participate in caring for the animals. We spend many weekends visiting any one of those attractions or the Children’s Discovery Museum at the Lawrence Hall of Science, high atop the UC Berkeley campus. Smaller parks and playgrounds are within walking distance of our house and are full of families from our neighborhood every day of the week. We believe we have found the perfect community to raise a family!
