Meet Tony

I grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with my parents, a brother and two sisters. I played lots of sports and spent my summer vacations on the New Jersey shore. My educational background is in Political Science. I have also earned two Master’s degrees, one in Education and a second one in Public Health from Columbia University. This led to a job with the United Nations in Belize, Central America, where I worked with refugees from other countries. This was a once in a lifetime experience! Nowadays, I am a manager at the Arthritis and the Genetics Divisions of the University of California at San Francisco, where doctors provide patient care, teach medical students and conduct research.

My husband, Tony
Tony is active, fun loving and can’t stand to hang out on the couch! On weekends, Tony likes to pick the longest and most challenging trail for hikes and bike rides. Tony also loves to garden and Ben likes to “help” him. I love watching the two of them transplanting trees, pulling weeds or just making sure everything gets watered. Tony is a fantastic father and I couldn’t ask for a better partner in life!
